Privacy Policy

Short version: Property Photo Notes doesn't collect your data. Your photos, notes and properties stay on your iPhone. The app has no account, no server of mine, no analytics, no ads and no tracking.

Who we are

Property Photo Notes is made by James Beyersdorf (Beyersdorf Apps). In this policy, "we" means James Beyersdorf.

What the app stores, and where

Properties, notes, photos, follow-ups and settings are stored only on your device, in the app's private storage. We never receive them. They're included in your device backups (iCloud Backup or a computer backup) under your own Apple settings. Notes you delete go to Recently Deleted for 30 days and are then removed for good. Deleting the app deletes everything it stored.

Permissions the app asks for

• Camera: to take photos inside the app. Those photos are saved in the app, not in your camera roll.
• Photos: to import photos you choose. The app only sees the photos you pick.
• Location (while using the app): only when you tap the button to fill in a property's address from your current location. The app reads your location once and uses Apple's geocoding service to turn it into a street address. The address you save stays on your device. The app doesn't track your location or keep a location history. Apple's handling of that lookup is covered by Apple's Privacy Policy.

You can turn any of these permissions off at any time in Settings → Property Photo Notes.

Exports and sharing

PDF, CSV and Walkthrough Notes exports are created on your device. They go only where you send them with the iPhone share sheet, such as Mail, Messages, AirDrop or Files.

Purchases

Pro subscriptions and the Lifetime purchase are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see your name, payment details or Apple Account. Apple gives developers only aggregated, non-identifying sales reports.

What we don't do

• No analytics, advertising or tracking code (SDKs)
• No tracking across other companies' apps or websites
• No selling or sharing of personal information
• No account or sign-in

Crash reports

If you've chosen to share analytics with app developers in your iPhone settings (Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements), Apple may send us anonymous crash reports. You control that setting, not the app.

Children

The app is a work tool and isn't directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.

Your rights

Because we hold no personal data about you, there's nothing for us to access, correct or delete. All of your data is on your device, and you can delete it any time by deleting notes or the app. California residents: we don't sell or share personal information.

Changes to this policy

If the app starts handling data differently, this page will be updated before that version is released, and the date at the top will change.
